Biogenetic Services, Inc. is USDA/APHIS approved for Official Scrapie Genotyping in sheep. Biogenetic Services uses DNA/SNP methods to test for resistance to Scrapie disease in sheep. BGS conducts tests for codons 171, 136, 141 and 154.
