Biogenetic Services, Inc. is USDA/APHIS approved for Official Scrapie Genotyping in sheep. Biogenetic Services uses DNA/SNP methods to test for resistance to Scrapie disease in sheep. BGS conducts tests for all three codons 171, 136 and 154.
